MR CENTRUM MĚLNÍK is a modern non-state medical facility offering diagnostic services and magnetic resonance imaging. A highly knowledgeable and professional team with many years of experience will provide you with complete care during examinations in our centre.

Doctors regularly improve their expertise by participating in domestic, European and world radiology congresses and workshops. The facility guarantees the use of inventive procedures and clinical applications in order to provide the most accurate diagnostic imaging for patients and clinicians. For quality services, we have state-of-the-art equipment in our diagnostic centre: a Siemens Magnetom Altea MRI with a magnetic field strength of 1.5 T.

Examination

Examination of the central nervous system

Adult brain imaging including diffusion weighted imaging (DWI), venous Bold (T2* 3D), isotropic 3D brain imaging with T2 and T1 weighting with use for detailed morphology assessment, for preoperative neuronavigation, fusion with PET and volumetry.
Advanced MR brain imaging: all perfusion techniques (T2*, T1 and ASL), spectroscopy (SVS, CSI). Allows more accurate diagnosis of brain diseases, as well as preoperative planning of the most challenging brain surgeries.
Imaging of the spinal canal in its entirety by performing a multisection multiplanar examination.

Musculoskeletal system

Specially dedicated coils for different parts of the body, together with the digital technology of the device, allow cartilage, tendon, ligament and bone marrow lesions to be imaged with unique resolution.

Belly and pelvis

Differentiation of focal and diffuse lesions of the liver, pancreas and biliary tract.
MR enterography
MR rectal, MR pelvic fistulography.
Focal lesions of the kidneys, adrenal glands and bladder.
Pathology of the prostate with complete diagnosticcapabilities (DCE – dynamic contrast enhancement, DWI, MRS).
Diagnostics of female pelvic diseases (developmental anomalies, endometriosis, tumors).
